The 15W peak speed requires Qi2 and/or Magsafe compatibility. This includes the iPhone 12 through 17 series and the Pixel 10 series. Other Qi-enabled phones will charge at standard speeds (5W to 10W) based on their specific hardware limits.
Can I use my car's built-in USB port?
Most built-in ports only output 5W to 10W. To reach 15W wireless speeds, you must use a separate 27W or higher PD 12V adapter in your cigarette lighter socket to ensure the mount has enough power.
Can I use any USB-C cable?
Standard cables often bottleneck power. To maintain a stable 15W flow and prevent charging drops, you must use a cable rated for 60W Power Delivery (PD) or higher.
Why use a 27W adapter for a 15W charge?
