Troubleshooting Steps

1. It does NOT need Bluetooth connection. Just press the button on top to turn it on and it's ready to go.

2. If your phone or tablet was ever used with Apple Pencil through Bluetooth connection which prevents any other stylus pen from working with the touch screen, please forget the Apple Pencil on the Bluetooth: Go to Settings > Bluetooth and make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. On the same screen, look under “My Devices” for your Apple Pencil and tap “Forget this Device”. Turn off Bluetooth after forgetting the Apple Pencil.

3. If the stylus does not write, please try to write with your finger on the touch screen. If your finger can write, it indicates that the stylus can also write. If your finger cannot write, it indicates the setting only allows Apple Pencil to write. In such case, please go to Settings, find the APP you are trying to use, and turn off "Only Draw with Apple Pencil".

4. If the stylus still does not write, you may need to reset the phone or tablet to the default setting (without deleting any APP) for this stylus pen to work: please go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
